Launching on to the soca scene back in 2008 with her sweet groovy track ‘Control it’ and her power soca ‘Move’, Ms Desire has worked consistently producing hit after hit. In 2012 Ms Desire worked with Producer and Mentor Anderson ‘Blood’ Armstrong (Barbados) once again, releasing ‘Gimme Gimme’ for the Barbados Crop Over 2012 season. Now featured on the second soca album produced by Blood, Ms. Desire’s popularity is on the rise not only in her birthplace of the United Kingdom but in her adopted home Barbados, her mother’s homeland.

 

Also released in 2012, ‘Ready fa dis’ produced by Monstapiece Studios (Barbados) and ‘Superman’ a collaboration with Kirk Brown (Barbados) produced by Soca Child 360 (UK) and mastered by Michael ‘Broca’ Holder (Barbados).

 

Ms. Desire is no stranger to Trinidad, Berlin, Barbados’ and NottingHill Carnival ensuring she leaves a mark on each one. The release her new groovy track ‘Give it to Me’ produced by the infamous Precision Productions, saw Ms Desire shortlisted for the MTV Brand New for 2013 Competition; and the track was added to the in-flight entertainment of all British Airways flights

 

With a solid musical background having studied at the United Kingdom’s most renowned Performing Arts’ schools “NLPAC” and “Sylvia Young”, Ms. Desire has some formal training and possesses the intangible tools of passion, creativity and innovation. Not only a performer, Ms. Desire is also a fantastic Song-writer being invited to Atlanta by Kevin Shine who worked alongside R-Kelly for a writing session in association with Universal Records.

 

Ms Desire has shared the stage with the best of the best including Machel Montano, Alison Hinds, Destra Garcia and Edwin Yearwood, just to name a few. She was also one of the stellar acts which performed for the Queen for her Golden Jubilee. Being included on major event cards in the United Kingdom, Europe, America and the Caribbean she has no plans of slowing down or stopping. She is committed to the art form

Ms. Desire has a growing international fan base. Devoted to promoting soca music, she hosts her own show ‘Desire’s World’, on BEN TV, Sky Channel 184 which has a viewership of in excess of one million plus viewers. In 2011 while on her UK tour with six dates and six sold out venues, she sold in excess of 2’500 copies of her debut album ‘Breaking Out’ and has plans for more touring in the future.
